Kate Burns is a beautiful human. You are going to thoroughly enjoy this conversation as we discuss her newly published book of poetry, “All of My Favorite Men are Dead.” This is a book of healing. A book where Kate takes you on a journey through the pain brought on by the hands of men and their sexual abuse. This book is for YOU too, she so brilliantly left the page after each of her poems blank for YOU to write your own poetry, words, draw pictures, or whatever you need to do to work through your own trauma. It is a book for the collective and sure to bring healing to many. Listen in to Kate’s conversation with us about how she got here, to a place where she now has a published book sharing her most damaging experiences.  Also, she explains her very catchy title.

You can read more about Kate and her books on her website. You can also purchase her book on Amazon.

* September is nearly over and we haven’t directly addressed that it is Suicide Awareness Prevention Month. There is a new number you can call or text if you feel you are in crisis: 988. Please reach out for help. There is always another side to things, you just have to make your way there. Warriors, hang on, we are going to make it together. Always remember that YOU are NOT Alone. Others have been there, felt what you are feeling, and made it to the other side. We love you.
